When you join Compsoc and get an account on our server, you get your very own @compsoc.nuigalway.ie email address with 3GB of storage!

Linux Server Account
Along with your webmail you get a server account on one of our 7 Linux servers. Host your own website, get familiar with the command line, or simply use it to safely and securely store files. You get 3GB of online storage to use as you please.

Chat Server
Compsoc run an XMPP chat server. Log in with an IM client and you can chat to other Compsoc members! For instructions on how to use the service, click above.
IRC Server
The Compsoc IRC server is yet another way to chat to and meet other Compsoc members, to log onto the IRC server, log onto your server account, as described above and type
irssi -c localhost
/join #compsoc
